SIZE: 1,600 Sf

With our client’s limited budget, we placed the focus of our design on showcasing the beauty of the existing building structure and on what we felt were necessary and high impact changes to the layout.  We flipped the program so the family living space, which occupied the dark basement, was moved upstairs and became a large bright enjoyable space, while bedrooms became cozy environments down below. Various surfaces were removed, including the existing ugly ceiling tile, to expose bricks and ceiling joists.
