PROGRAM: public hallways

Our client was the co-op board for a building that wanted a fresh update to the common hallways on each floor of their 60-unit apartment building in the West Village of Manhattan. Working with a tight budget, our recommendations were limited to changing certain finishes and adjusting the lighting. In our first round of design ideas, we shared four possible paths forward. Subsequent proposals continued to further develop the most preferred design choice while we simultaneously worked with a general contractor to evaluate the cost of the project.
